More than 75% of positions are filled through networking rather than cold online applications. Yet many researchers rely primarily on job boards—often because networking feels unclear, uncomfortable, or time-consuming. This interactive workshop is designed to help you approach networking in a structured, strategic, and authentic way.

Goals

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

• Understand what effective networking actually looks like (and what it is not)
• Define clear networking goals and identify your target profiles
• Learn where and how to find relevant contacts
• Draft a cold outreach message you can use right away
• Understand how to structure  an information intereview: what to ask and how to prepare
